Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
Due to the risks of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), Rockwall Dermatology is taking extra precautions for your safety and the safety of our staff. As a partner in your healthcare we want to share our efforts to prevent transmission of COVID-19 while continuing to care for our patient's healthcare needs.
Rockwall Dermatology is actively following the guidelines for medical offices provided by our local government, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The COVID-19 guidelines and our related policy are subject to change with the evolving situation, and the most up-to-date information for our clinic can will be found here.
Patients without COVID-19 risk factors may be scheduled for an in-person appointment and are asked to abide by the following precautions.
Patients and essential guests are required to wear a mask while in the clinic. You will notice, our staff will also be wearing masks and other personal protective equipment. Everyone in the clinic wears one.
Patients should come to their appointment alone if possible or with only one essential caregiver. All non-essential guests will be asked to wait outside the clinic.
Complete Intake Forms
All intake forms must be completed prior to the appointment and patients must arrive on time to avoid rescheduling.
Online TeleHealth Appointments
An Online Dermatologist appointment may be preferred if you are at higher-risk for severe COVID-19 illness or you want the convenience of virtual care. The CDC currently believes older adults and people with underlying medical conditions may be at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19. Go to the CDC website here to read more about higher risk populations. Online Dermatology appointments are required if any COVID-19 risk factors apply to you.
